Laura Seese's job is to be an active listener and guide clients during their journey to mental health wellness.
Asking for help in times of stress can be difficult, it can lead to heightened feelings of anxiety and depression. I offer an effective combination of therapies, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, DBT and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, CBT. These modalities help clients explore their thought and behavioral processes and how they impact current functioning with the ultimate goal of creating a healthy, mindful mindset. I understand that clients have different needs and expectations with regards to their mental health journey, therefore I meet my clients where they are at and work collaboratively with clients to develop and achieve their treatment goals.
My job is to be an active listener and the therapeutic support and guide along the client during their journey to mental health wellness. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, adolescents, families and couples struggling with a variety of mental health issues including communication, emotional regulation, crisis and conflict.
