I know how difficult it is to find a therapist, so thank you for taking the time to read this. My professional career spans 25 years of working in the Denver metro area’s community mental health system helping Denverites cope with a range of diagnoses and severities. During that time I have focused on helping people cope with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and issues that affect men specifically. I received my master’s degree in counseling from Adams State University, and my undergraduate in social work from Phillips University. I use the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to guide discussions to help rethink our situations, challenge our maladaptive beliefs, and move forward with valued actions.

In my personal life, I have been with my wife for 28 years, and we have two adult children. I enjoy skiing, playing guitar, and taking care of my two dogs. We have lived in the Denver area for over 25 years and still love to get out and play. We enjoy going to concerts, doing anything free in the city, and just hanging out in the mountains. I enjoy reading sci fi novels, and comic books. If you are in need of someone to talk to I’m always willing to be a listening ear.
