Erin is only accepting female clients at this time.
I have 18 years of experience as a holistic psychotherapist and counselor specializing in women’s issues and feminist psychology. My approach considers the inner and outer influences on our mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being while utilizing an eclectic approach tailored to each client’s needs and therapy goals. Cultivating a therapeutic alliance forms the foundation of my approach while applying strengths-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies for fostering self-awareness and positive change. Some areas of focus are anxiety/stress management, life transitions, career burnout, relationship with food, interpersonal skills and communication, and prioritizing self-care for work/life balance, to name a few.
I tend to attract clients who are of the “I got this” or “I don’t want to burden others” mentality but are ready to be on the receiving end of support. Self-sufficiency is a wonderful quality, but we all need a little (or a lot!) of support at times. Talking uncensored with someone you don’t have to take care of in the process of sharing can go a long way toward feeling better. My style tends to be more interactive and engaging, and I ask a lot of questions to help you tap into your innate wisdom and clarity.
I require an initial phone consultation to chat briefly and determine if my approach fits your needs and to answer any questions you may have about my counseling approach.
