All of us deserve to feel seen, heard, and known—without this opportunity, we are often left feeling uncertain about ourselves and the world around us. I appreciate the strength it takes to ask for help. Many of us want life to look differently but feel stuck taking the first step to get there.

My approach to therapy is to build a safe and trusting environment where people feel empowered to reflect upon, and reauthor their story. Particularly in the presence of trauma, we are often asked to take on roles and narratives which don’t align with our authentic selves. Using person-centered and Narrative Therapy practices, I support clients in defining a life worth living and the most liberated version of who they are.

I have a background in community mental health, which means I have experience working in clients’ natural environments. The years I spent meeting folks in their homes, homeless shelters, hospitals, court rooms, etc. enforced the belief that I am never the expert of someone else’s story. I bring this belief into my work as an outpatient therapist and have come to specialize in working with the LGBTQ community as well as survivors of trauma.

I serve clients from the age of 12 and up. I would love to connect with anyone who resonates with my mission and hopes to start the important work towards healing.
